AVENTURES AU JAPON

Surrealism Abroad and the Art of Wormhole Maintenance

ok guys, here's the lowdown on scott's going away party. i think the pictures speak for themselves, saying nothing of the obscene puking (not by me!), the setting off of fire alarms (that was me!), multiple print club, and the egg McMuffins that we stockpiled for the coming day of waking up at 3pm. S's par-tay was on sunday, a day when Alex and I were virulently hungover from our drinking and karaoke stint on Saturday night, in which we perfected our ode to scott (see below). And what's funner than drinking Coke in 35'C sun and going shopping in Harajuku for a new outfit when you're hungover? I think the best fashion decisions have been made when half my synapses are soaked in vodka. We settled on snazzy orange spiky bracelets and then ran with the orange and blue theme in our new shirts. mine only cost 8 bones! but as you'll see, by the end of the night i opted for the 7 layer look, complemented by a fucshia and electric blue headwrap. but i fully support my fashion decisions, and that's why i love Japan. i can embrace my inner fluorescent child, and wear jelly earrings and wrist sweatbands with wild abandon and it fits in here in some unique way.

last weekend was was too intense on my wallet and liver. i'm looking forward, sickly, to working this weekend, and having one free day to hang out and chill at an aquarium in Ikebukuro with some mates. next weekend is Fuji, and then I'm meeting up with Kylie and Ritsuko the following weekend AND THEN it's Borneo, baby! 21 days away for an 8 day solo adventuroo...
