i find it both mildly disturbing, and mildly entertaining that i am the third hit on a search for *Louise Wriggly Pics*. stranger things have happened however.
well i:ve officially moved out of my appt and into Taka:s as the new teacher arrived last night. Cleaning was a task worse than packing and two of the most horrific experiences of my life occurred. one was discovering how to pull out the bathroom drain to clean it, and in the process finding out where the other 30% of my hair has gone. i mean, i knew i was shedding but that incident just confirms the fact i:ve lost the hair equivalent to that on a three year old:s head. it:s sick. clumps and clumps and clumps... the second thing was cleaning out the bin in front of my appt on my balcony and hearing "ping ping ping" as a family of cockroach babies fell to the cement. those suckers have hard ass shells!! anyways, one of it:s parents committed suicide and the other ran blindly off the edge of my balcony in some kinda twisted insect romeo and juliet way. yea. but really, i:m not that filthy. i swear!!
today i cannot wake up to save my soul and i:m wandering around in a half conscious state of mind... i can:t believe that this time next week i will be unpacking down south!
oh and did i tell you two new NOVA teachers came this week? Rob and CHarlie. Rob:s from Buffalo, but went to university of miami where his roomate charlie was living. charlie is cuban american. anyways, both of them are really nice and on saturday night taka and they and i had a bit of a piss up at Taka:s place. it was great to get caught up on all the going-ons of the outside world! nice to see two new foreign faces around the place too!
yesterday icleaned up the appt, got all my things sent to Okayama, and spent the rest of the day relaxing at Taka:s place, doing nothing at all for the first day in Japan! it was great! for dinner i met my co-workers at Purinima for my goodbye/jenny:s welcome party. it was lush, as always. it was awesome to see Baba one last time before i leave and get a taste of that delicious curry and naan...
