hello fellow humans! i have safely arrived in KL after a rickety overnight train from singapore last night. i witnessed a breathtaking malaysian sunrise this morning, i felt like iw as watchign a scene from teh Lion King! it was sad to leave singapore, an insanely clean city/country/island, but KL kicks some serious ass and things are disgustingly cheap here. Cam and i are stocking up before heading back to the land of jacked prices.
right now i'm cooompletely exhausted and drained from all that fucking haggling we did today shopping. like yo, just give me a fair fucking price and don't make me bust out my onthespot conversion skills for a CD or tshirt!! buit it's all good, i picked up some mad jewerly and sarongs. i've decided to say fuck it to my artificial living in japan and just try to be me me me as much as possible. i've done some nice things with the earthy tones... tho i did pick up a purple and orange bling sarong.
the food here is lush, i love durians!!! and dragonfruit! and soursop! mmmm fruit... cheap cheap fruit... my body is in the throes of esctasy! we had chinese food tonite and like, it seriosuly sucked. but we have been having wicked indian eats- banana roti is the cumshot of indian food, screw cocounut naan!!
i maxed me memory so i got my pics on CD and got them printed really cheap. i'm a wiked photo taker|! who knew?? and my skills will be publicly revealed when i figure out how to upload pictures!
malaysia is absolutely stunning and beautiful! the sky, oh the glorious deep blue sky reminds me of home. there are breathtaking mosques everywhere and heaps of tall buildings. didn't realize KL was such a mama city! we got dressed, hilariously, in robes and hair scarves to visit one today.
tomorrow we are off to the hearby Batu Caves to explore, and then to the GOlden Triangle for shopping (oh gad help my feet) and to the Petronas Towers at night. after that we're kicking up to the jungle for a trek. decided to stay a day longer on the beach, which i'm pretty looking forward to doing at the end because i know after two days on the beach i would not be up for this power shopping. though today we got some of our omiyage squared away...
perpetrated a bit of a tan today. it's so frigging hot here i think i've sweated off 5kgs... or so i wish!! seriously, i'm just a fountain of sweaty sexiness walking down the street. how can the locals NOT fall all over me with my sweating knee backs and glowing cleavage? everyone here keeps trying to touch me cuz i'm white. like dude, i am not a tab of acid, i'm not gonna just rub off on you! i try to keep Cam at close proximity to fend off these equator people!
the number of people playing DeathMaster2000 in this internet place is slightly to very disconcerting.
what else can i tell you? singapore was just lovely, so clean... i want to live there! we thot it was cheap until we got to KL and realized we've been duped! we went to a grcoery store to see waht kinda food local people eat and it was like my biggest japanland dream- a store full of english labels and a aisle devoted to cereal. i think i creamed my pants! we are stocking up before we leave. i know i know, who goes to singapore to buy oatmeal eh?
