Holy guacamoles-- avocados are 68 yen at Summit! Praise the good men, women, and children of avocado producing Mexico! One might be inclined to ask, With the genetic hybridization, chemical fertilizers, synthetic pesticides, human exploitation and global shipping costs involved in creating and delivering a superior avocado from one side of the world to the other, doesn't the unnecessary exploitation of the world's resources blunt any satisfaction derived from the purchase and consumption of said avocados?
One might be inclined, my friend, but will leave that inclination to a night in the near future, when one is not feasting on warm homemade tortillas and guacamole.
