i had my first earthquake last night!! it was SO cool! i was lying in bed talking to Cam, making our NY travel plans, when i felt a lil jolt. the feeling like there:s construction nearby and you feel the vibrations of the materials booming and crashing about. i was like what was that? i think i just had an earthquake... but i wasn:t quite sure so we kept on talking when suddenly the whole appt started shaking and my lamp was rattling on my table and things were jittering around. i was like OH MY GOD!! EARTHQUAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE! but it was only a lil baby one, maybe for 5 seconds. it:s really nothing over here, but hey, it was my first one and it was cool! i got this whole adrenaline rush that happens whenever i don:t know what:s going on. talk about primitive wiring. confusion=my body says :run for you life!:. wow, so i can:t wait for another one! just a lil reminder from Momma Earth about who:s in charge!

what am i going to be for halloween??? alice in wonderland, lil red riding hood, a vampire, a gypsy.... maybe i:ll go shopping in Nikko this weekend and buy something. i:m so pumped for our trip. i just came back from the train station where i bought my ticket. temples, waterfalls, hiking... sticker photo booths! oooh!! a nice change of pace from Iwaki, no doubt.

so i have follow up training in two weeks and i have one day off before, and one day off after so Cam and I and a few other grrls from our training group and planning lil day trips. cam and i are gna take an overnight train to Hiroshima before training, and afterwards we are going to check out Nara. i:ll try and link up some pictures to this sight in the coming week of some places we:ll be digging.
